hmmmm

far to much repetition. If the beat had been different it woulda been less noticable, If only because scales can be very very noticable.

The variations were pretty good but also repetative.

What you've got here would sound better if it was condensed to about a minute.

But to your credit, it sounds better then most of my music.

Thanks dude. I'm trying I'm learning everyday. I also don't have the funds to buy the full version of FL 8. (FAIL!) But I'm getting there I think. I'm learning how to use 3xOsc and layering properly. Man you should have listened to all my other stuff at the beginning.

Great

This is a awesome tune, so peaceful and serene but not lonely.

I see a similar picture to wylds. but its slightly different.

I see a clumsy girl all happy and go-lucky walking through her village (similar to the "shire" from LOTR) she trips and stumbles sometimes but thats alright the path is lined with flowers and bushes to catch her fall. She smiles and greets the village folk on her way.

But where is she going ?.? I believe we need a follow up my friends.

hmmmm

good but you used an odd beat for the repitition, reminds me of a bee-hive buzzing, just doesn't fit the rest of the mix. try going in the other direction with it.

oh and repetition is good for flash artists, it makes it easier for them to chop it up into loops so they don't have to use the entire song.

sometimes its hard to fit 3 mintutes of music into a flash. and thats where looping comes in.

holy crap MMD. how long have you been practicing??? This rivals Evil-Dog Its awesome and really smooth. no choopy parts anywhere.

Might wanna do some debugging on it though cause I'm getting some "Fuzz" in some parts of it. It might just be the mix.

mainly between :30 and :50 thats the first one I can think of. not sure if its my speakers or not.

and your voice sounds great. I dunno what your worried about. (and there are programs that can change the key your voice falls in. one of them is cakewalk audio, I use it sometimes but not often.)

Your only getting better MMD can't wait for your next submission.

Rather short this time my friend. its an interesting piece.

I would say that this is not as dark as you say it is but instead more hopeful.

It has a strange sense of reunion, and serenity about it. Let me see if I can show you what I mean.

I don't think you'll believe this but this helped me learn how to do something I didn't think I'd be able to do in a million years.

draw a human face in flash.

I am almost 100% unable to draw people, the lines come out wrong, the ears mess up, the nose becomes mis-aligned.

but today while I was listening to this I finally did it :D and I think the song helped.

but as for the song its great, you always bring us the best piano scores MMD and the supporting drums and violins just made it shine even more.

overall the song reminds me of a labor-camp... maybe thats why I took so much time to "Practice"

This isn't techno, though it has some qualities of it.

Your main beat leads it to be industrial, industrial has that heavy hardcore sound. techno often doesn't pull this off without turning into industrial or something inbetween.

otherwise great song man. idk but I've been correcting the new submissions genre's all day, and I don't even work for newgrounds. guess I got bored.

Thatgs a really good track, nice a peaceful but its not techno man. techno is upbeat, lively, energizing.

This is called "Trance" soothing, Thoughtful, and sometimes sorrowful. not to say techno can't be any one of those, but not all 3 at once without turning into trance.

9/10 only cause of the confusion :P
