Incredibly articulate review, really appreciate all that! I use FL Studio 10 Producer edition for all of my music, as well as virtual sound tables such as nexus, z3ta+, and sylenth1 for all of the synth sounds that I incorporate. Beautiful

Very beautiful and fitting. I'm not very familiar with lullabies (Specifically) but I am familiar with zelda's lullaby, and you did a wonderful job on it. It's even better that the lyrics are appropriate for the game.

I do unfortunately have issues with lullabies (they make me cry idk why they just do) But I did enjoy this one very much.

I hope you make more wonderful songs like this.

Space?

Most of what I heard in this track reminded me of space flight, not shuttle flight mind you, but space flight reminiscent of Star Gate Universe, or Battle Star Galactica, perhaps even star wars.

I would say star trek but this reminds me more of a battle relaxation track one would pop in as he departs from his carrier.

Yeah I could dog-fight to this "so" easily.

Anyway, This one was great, has a really trancey sound to it, and its very catchy, reminds me of megaman sewer/underground stages, also oddly reminds me of another old N64 or NES game that I can't remember the name of.

Keep it up durn (btw are you doing this for fun or have you gotten into selling your music yet?)

haha, lurker! :D yeah, a lot of people told me it reminded them of video game background music during the beginning and repeated parts of that.

I do it both for fun and for money. :D All the stuff I release here on newgrounds and other online places are just songs I make to keep myself happy. I get paid to make short background loops for online promotional games. Hence why a lot of my tunes have VG elements to em, it's part of my daily life. :)

Awesome as always, had a really vintage/retro sound to it :P do I hear 1985 in there some-where?

Just kidding, the lyrics were a bit sparse but it sounded good over-all, don't be afraid to let your voice ring out unsynthed, (which seems to me what was happening)

Confidence shall be the success of every dream ever dreamed up by any man, woman, or child.

Anyway, The song was great, but I think you held yourself back a bit on this one, use your voice to its full potential! :D

(Try doing karaoke or rock band 2 for a confidence boost)

I fail miserably at practicing with karaoke cause I always try to sound like the artist. ;) lol, just need a funkier track to work with and I'll get into it. :D Definitely hear some 80s, can't help it! I am a child of the 80s after all!

Long enough?

Awesome song but do you think it was long enough? I can only think of one other song that's longer then this.

I literally felt myself age while I was listening, haven't felt that in a pretty long time lol.

It does sound pretty awesome, almost like a club trance beat or a background theme for a game or movie.

I can see this being used in many flash's good job on the song and your top 5.

Yes, I know, it is WAY too long. The thing is, I always try to add a second progression, but this one was so awesome and kept wanting to add to it, so it got overboard.

I think I said this in the description I am considering cutting out a few of the more repetitive measures which would shorten the song and keep it more varied.

If you go to the soundcloud that i have on my prof, you can leave some comments for suggestions at different parts so i can redo the mix. I actually put a bunch of questions at different points in this song cuz i was unsure about certain aspects.

Not bad, lyrics are well written.

However the actual singing seems off, I suggest a re-record of the voice, maybe with some better equipment, or some editing.

Pretty good though, the instruments are perfect.

thanks a ton for the review man...yeah a lot of it will depend on getting an actual studio mic in order to really get into it...just using the onboard mic on my recording device

Would have been better if the flute part was something you made (Something original).

I can't in good conscience give you a betterscore because the sampled flute did most of the work.

it was a good experiment though, the results were pretty enjoyable.
